In the year 2000 Taipei City began to promote the ”Keep Trash off the Ground '' program. The program was later implemented throughout Taiwan. To let people know that the garbage truck is coming, the truck plays the famous Für Elise or A Maiden's Prayer and has become a major feature of Taiwan.
